A little more context; I got into BTS when i was in fourth/fifth grade something like that. So i've been a BTS fan for...what the fuck nine years wow I just now typing it out realized. Okay i'll think about that later, anyways up until my first year of high school I was a pretty big BTS fan. My peak was middle school grade-ish. After that I stopped keeping up with them because of inactivity and tbh BTS's solo music is not my taste. Even though I would hesitate to call myself an ARMY now, their nusic is extremely nostalgic and dear to me. I've never actually properly thought about what my favorite albums, eras, or songs are so this is exciting!
Starting with special mentions:
Let me defend myself a little; I love all these albums. The reason why I chose not to count You Never Walk Alone is because it's too similar to wings. I had to chose between 2 Cool 4 Skool or Dark & Wild and unfortunately the latter won. O!RUL8,2 was so close to making the list. Map of the Soul: 7 is special in my heart, but did NOT make it to the list. As for Love Yourself: Tear I have no defense for myself. I just had to make a decision okay. I also knew that there's Answer, but for the sake of this i will consider them as seprate albums. We will be starting with the bottom of the list and going up!

Call me crazy, but Dark & Wild showcases some of BTS's best work musically. Whenever I listen to 'Rain' something in me...just blooms. Also 'Cypher Pt.3' is the best of the four I DON'T CARE!!!! This is one of BTS's albums where I seriously like every single song. Not a single bad song basically. My favorite songs on the album include 'Rain', 'Embarrassed', '24/7=Heaven', 'Cypher Pt.3: Killer', and 'War of Hormone' (ignore the lyrics becuz they're weird af but it's such a banger omgg). The concept throughout this album is strong too like this BTS era was a moment.
If I was forced to chose bewteen Love Yourself: Tear vs. Her, i'm chosing Her every time and for one reason only: 'Serendipity.' And the thing is that YEAH T_T Tear has betters songs like I know it's evil of me, but i'd rather jump than live in a world without 'Serendipity.' If my answer wasn't a big clue my BTS bias is Jimin. The grip that man had on me...anyways If there is a day that I experience this song live, that will in fact be my last day alive because i'm not ready. Besides 'Serendipity' I love 'DNA' (idgaf), 'Dimple,' and 'Pied Piper.' This album is also extremely nostalgic to me. I would go as far to say the MOST nostalgic for me.
The concept and visuals too can we please just admire how beautiful it is. Something about this album is magical and puberty aside- my brain was altered chemically.
The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Forever Young is one of the best albums..ever. For these two I decided to put them together because there's no way I can chose just one like Love Yourself sorry. If I had to chose, Pt.2 then Pt.1 ranked, but it's just so unfair. Musically I mean I don't really need to explain it's just too good. This era of BTS conceptually and aesthetically is my favorite of all time actually now that I think about. The music videos are truely spectacular and cinematic. I literally love every song on the albums(s), but to name a few of my favorites: 'House of Cards', 'Run', 'Ma City', 'Butterfly', 'Hold Me Tight', 'Love Is Not Over'
album(s) feature so many iconic songs that I have many fond memories with. When I was like eleven or ten would I read/watch BTS fanfiction on YouTube. Songs like 'Silver Spoon' or 'Whalien 52' instrumentals would always be playing in the background.
Easily one the best BTS albums. Conceptually and musically Skool Luv Affair hits the mark. Boy In Luv is not only the best BTS title track basically, but also one of their best songs in general. Not a single bad song on the album as well, and I would go as far to say every song is expectional. As an album it's by far one the strongest. I really just love everything about this album and concept and era and music 
This was so close to being my number one favorite BTS album and honestly...deep down maybe it is. My favorite songs on the album would have to be 'Boy In Luv', 'Just One Day', 'Cypher Pt.2: Triptych', 'Spine Braker', and 'Purpose'.
Wings is BTS's best album. I DON'T GIVE TWO FREAKS. The people were anticipating and BTS delivered. I became a BTS fan in the beginning of this era so sentimental value is apart of my reason, but even nostalgia aside I think I would still consider this their best album (or at least my favorite). When I listended to 'Blood Sweat & Tears' nine years ago my life changed. Something about this album...you just had to understand and be there when it released. And if I said it was their best title track I would be right because it actually is when you think about it. This is their strongest album conceptually and musically. I'm serious about Wings don't play with me. Never has a piece of art impacted me as much as this album does. And you know I did question 'am i really putting this album above all the others?' and the answer was yes. From the intro to the outro it transitions so naturally. One of my dreams in life is to see this work preformed live in completion I think I would pass away though.
