some fun updates: last month i went to las vegas to see baekhyun and taemin! ! ! it was my first trip 'alone' (i went with a friend/coworker, but like being adult) and the first time i really traveled in five years so i was kinds nervous. we didn't even plan on going to see taemin originally. i had bought the tickets for baekhyun, my friend was like 'what if i buy these 10$ tickets for taemin' on this website which i was like convinced was going to be a scam. when we went to check out the pop up at the venue, she bought them right there. turned out they were legit. we were jaws to the floor in shock, but that's not even the craziest part. the seats were for literally top of balcony row fuckin 700 smack center or something and as we were waiting (an hour before showtime) a venue staff came up to us and asked "The artist doesn't want anyone sitting up in the back here, do you guys want to upgrade?" and we were like YES WHAT? ! i'm thinking okay maybe like back of the first level or front of balcony- THEY UPGRADED US TO FLOOR SEATS. WE WERE LITERALLY THREE ROWS FROM THE STAGE. i saw that man UP CLOSE. i looked at my friend and said there's no way this is happpening right now. mind you we had just landed in vegas like 2-3 hours ago still in our airport clothes looking like shit. i was also sick as a dog. another funny story the people sat next to us also got upgraded and turns out they were from our exact city/workplace. cool coincidence :-) and that's the story of how i saw taemin in las vegas. let me tell you...that man is so insane and talented...you don't get it he's so fucking good. of course we saw baekhyun as well. that man is my Wife by the way. i've waited ten years to see him live and he didn't disapoint. the whole experience was not real to me and i still can't believe it. i love baekhyun nobody gets it ! !
besides that i've also been sick for basically three weeks at this point. which i kinda get because i honestly didn't get sick at all last year which is crazy. i thought i got over it this weekened, but then yesterday my nose started bleeding and i was coughing blood so...we'll see. dear god i ticketed for BTS last week and it was the most humbling humiliating experience in my life...i'm not gonna get started actually bye. also happy new year! ! ! 2026. many things will happen this year and are already happening. i don't know if i have any goals. i want to start studying chinese and japanese again. i also need to start my sketchbook that i haven't bought yet. my main goal though is to just live as best i can with how my life is right now. so goodbye...till the next blog entry.
